I had the privilege of covering the Sikh portion of Komal and Rohit’s wedding, a first for me and wonderful glimpse into another culture. After the ceremony we shot photos all over the city and ended up at The Pyramid Club for the reception where we not only got one of the best views of the city but also a chance to cut loose. You might remember Amelia and Steve from their engagement shoot in Stockon and on Amelia’s parent’s farm. Their wedding was even more fun. From the pheasant feathers in the bouquet to the personal touches in seeds as party favours the interests of these two could be seen all day long. Allison, Lee and I had a really great time shooting their engagement photos earlier this summer so I knew that the big day would be alot of fun. It was a classic and beautiful wedding. Everyone had a wonderful time and both the bride and groom were relaxed, laid back and enjoyed themselves with their friends and families. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and it made making pictures a joy.
I met up with my good friends Amanda and Derek last week in beautiful Marshall, Virginia to photograph their new butcher shop. The evening before we decided to take advantage of some amazing landscapes, locations and light for a few couples portraits.
